  1. Purchaser must be 18 years or older to play.
  2. Tickets will be sold using electronic raffle system supplied by Ascend Fundraising Solutions.
  3. Tickets can be purchased online at the website www.torontohumanesocietylotto.com.
    1. Raffle #1 - Ticket Sales - Starting at 9:00 am on March 17, 2021 until 9:00pm on April 30, 2021. The Final Draw to take place on May 1, 2021 at 11:00 am. This draw will have a guaranteed prize of $9,999. When the ticket sales exceed $ 19,998 the winning prize will be half of the sales.
    2. Raffle #2 - Ticket Sales - Starting at 9:00 am on September 21, 2021 until 9:00pm on October 29, 2021. The Final Draw to take place on October 30, 2021 at 11:00 am. This draw will have a guaranteed prize of $9,999. When the ticket sales exceed $ 19,998 the winning prize will be half of the sales.
  4. Tickets can be purchased for $10.00 for 10 numbers, $20.00 for 40 numbers, and $40 for 100. Purchases can be made online www.torontohumanesocietylotto.com with a credit card.
  5. After buying, patrons will receive a confirmation emailed with their 50/50 registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.
  6. The winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold for the draw for that day/game.
  7. Toronto Humane Society Staff and Board of Directors, as well as their spouses, children and children-in-law are not permitted to purchase tickets and are not eligible to win.
  8. For Raffle #1, there will be two early bird cash prizes will be awarded. The first prize will consist of $1,000, and tickets purchased prior to 11:59 PM EST on March 31, 2021 will be eligible. The winning number will be drawn at 11:00 AM EST on April 1, 2021. The second early bird prize will consist of $500, and tickets purchased prior to 11:59 PM EST on April 14, 2021 will be eligible. The winning number will be drawn by 11:00 AM EST on April 15, 2021.
  9. For Raffle #2, there will be two early bird cash prizes will be awarded. The first prize will consist of $1,000, and tickets purchased prior to 11:59 PM EST on September 29, 2021 will be eligible. The winning number will be drawn at 11:00 AM EST on September 30, 2021. The second early bird prize will consist of $500, and tickets purchased prior to 11:59 PM EST on October 13, 2021 will be eligible. The winning number will be drawn by 11:00 AM EST on October 14, 2021.
  10. One main cash prize will be awarded for each raffle as part of the Final Draw, the winning ticket will be posted on the www.torontohumanesociety.com website, written about in our Scratching Post e-newsletter, and will also be posted on our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts.
  11. The winning ticket holder has 6 months in which to claim their prize from the date of the draw their ticket was purchase for.
  12. The winner must provide his/her name, address and phone number with picture identification for our report sheet and send it to fundraising@torontohumanesociety.com or call 416-392-2273 ext 2162.
  13. Once the certified winner is verified, and provides identification with photo ID, they will be given a cheque in the amount of the declared prize which is, at minimum, 50% of the total sales for that game. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided.
  14. In the event that no winner comes forward, the winning stub will be kept in a safe and held for 6 months. After that time period has elapsed the prize will donated to a local charity with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
