  1. Purchaser must be 18 years or older to play.
  2. Tickets will be sold using electronic raffle system supplied by Ascend Fundraising Solutions.
  3. Tickets can be purchased at the Toronto Humane Society office (11 River St, Toronto ON, M5A 4C2), through Toronto Humane Society managed locations throughout Toronto, and online at the website www.torontohumanesocietylotto.com
    Draw #1 - Ticket Sales - Starting at 9:00 am on May 19, 2020 to June 29, 2020 until 9:00 pm. Draw to take place on June 30, 2020 at 11:00 am. This draw will have a guaranteed prize of $9,999. When the ticket sales exceed $ 19,998 the winning prize will be half of the sales.
    Draw #2 - Ticket Sales - Starting at 9:00 am on August 1, 2020 to September 13, 2020 until 9:00pm. Draw to take place on September 14, 2020 at 11:00am. This draw will have a guaranteed prize of $9,999. When the ticket sales exceed $19,998 the winning prize will be half of the sales.
  4. Tickets can be purchased for $10.00 for 10 numbers, $20.00 for 40 numbers, and $40 for 100. Purchases can also be made online www.torontohumanesocietylotto.com with a credit card purchase.
  5. After buying, patrons will be given by the sellers, a receipt with their 50/50 registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.
  6. The winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold for the draw for that day/game
  7. Toronto Humane Society Staff and Board of Directors, as well as their spouses, children and children-in-law are not permitted to purchase tickets and are not eligible to win.
  8. One cash prize will be awarded for each draw, the winning ticket will be posted on the www.torontohumanesociety.com website, written about in our Scratching Post e-newsletter, and will also be posted on the television screens across Toronto Humane Society, as well as our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts. If information about the winner is collected at the point of sale, the winner will be contacted directly.
  9. The winning ticket holder has 6 months in which to claim their prize from the date of the draw their ticket was purchase for.
  10. The winner must provide his/her name, address and phone number with picture identification for our report sheet and send it to fundraising@torontohumanesociety.com or call 416-392-2273.
  11. Once the certified winner is verified, and provides identification with photo ID, they will be given a cheque in the amount of the declared prize which is, at minimum, 50% of the total sales for that game. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided.
  12. In the event that no winner comes forward, the winning stub will be kept in a safe and held for 6 months. After that time period has elapsed the prize will donated to a local charity with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
